Mary M. Shipman, 56, a 22-year resident of Fontana, died June 1, 1981.
Born in Massachusetts, Mrs. Shipman was a senior chart clerk for 11 years at Kaiser Hospital, Fontana, co-owner of 7-11 Market in Fontana for 10 years, a member of the American Cancer Society Board.
Survivors include her husband, Duncan; two sons, Duncan "Mike" of Fullerton and James of Fontana; four sisters, Marjorie Masten of Connecticut, Grace Allspach of Rhode Island, Jean Clasby and Winifred Bartlett, both of Massachusetts; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Ingold Chapel, where friends may call from 5 to 9 this evening. Interment in Green Acres Memorial Park.
