JoAnn M. (Feist) Werner, 69, Arvada, Colo., went to be with the lord on Grandparents Day, Sept. 8, 2002. Services will be held Thursday in Arvada.

JoAnn M. (Feist) Werner was born March 29, 1933, in Selfridge to Rosella and Conrad Feist. She was a resident of Bismarck, devoting her precious time and love to her children. She was an employee of St. Vincent's Nursing Home and had retired to Arvada five years ago, where she was known as baker extraordinaire, budding artist and amateur weather-woman.

She will always be remembered as a beautiful and loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and supportive friend.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary Eva Kraft and Fran Smith; her brothers, Mike and Jerome Feist; and her eight children, Charlene Komp, Gary Werner, Jolene Vollmuth, Laurene Werner-Knouf, Gaylene Allison, John Werner, Scott Werner and Tanya Murphy, along with their spouses and families, who include 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
