Everett Rouw, 81, died at Manor of ottumwa. He was born Aug. 17, 1912, in Holland to Albert and Effie Plate Rouw. He married Verna Van-Steenis on June 18, 1936, in Pella. He was a farmer and had farmed at Pella, Oskaloosa and Ottumwa. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ottumwa. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Emery Rouw of Ottumwa and Verlan Rouw of Macksburg; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, William of Pella and Gerald Rouw of Sigourney; and two sisters, Cora Kuyper of Pella and Esther McCurdy of Eddyville He was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers; and a sister. The service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Ottumwa, the Rev. David Jongew-aard officiating. Burial will be in Shrine of Memories Funeral Home mausoleum in Ottumwa
