Mrs. Dollie Mayo, 57, of 425 West Osage, died in a McAlester hospital Monday after a lingering illness. She was born July 31, 1903 at Platter and lived here for the past three years. She was a member of the Assembly of God church. Survivors include seven sons, Jerry Lee Mayo, McAlester, R. C. Harner, McAlester, J. C. Harner, Savanna, Lee R. Harner, Oscoda, MI, Melvin C. Harner, Norwalk, CA, Kenneth D. Harner, Bakersfield, CA and Oliver O. Harner, Dallas, TX; two daughters, Mrs. Ella L. Burch, Savanna and Mrs. Audrey J. Campbell, Dallas, TX; five brothers, Loomis Haskell and Joe Turner, Keller, TX, Del Turner, Richardson, TX and Elmer Turner, Atoka, OK; two sisters, Ora Wilson, San Diego, CA and Velma Hickman, Keller, TX; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Assembly of God church. Rev. Harold Powell, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. The Chaney Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
