He was born September 22, 1931, in Helena, Arkansas to John Elmer and Carrie Mae (Corder) Taylor.
Dan enjoyed working on cars, telling stories, making jokes, and working hard alongside his wife to create to “prettiest yard on Elm Springs Road”. He was a man of his word and deeply devoted to his family.
He served 28 years with the Army National Guard, retiring in 1991.
Dan is survived by his wife, Nora Ann Taylor; five sons, Danny Taylor of Lewisville, John Taylor of Lewisville, Bob Taylor of Grandberry, Texas, Daniel Taylor of Springdale, and David Taylor of King George, Virginia; one daughter, Diana Taylor of Albertville, Alabama; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services were Monday, July 15, at Elmdale Baptist Church.
Interment was at Elm Springs Cemetery.
