NEWPORT NEWS - Mary Hudnall Page, 84, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Sentara Careplex Hospital.
Born in Glasco, W.Va., she had been a Peninsula resident since 1929 and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis; and a granddaughter, Mary E. Carrasco.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Carrasco and husband, Pedro, of Mechanicsville, and Nita McGuire and husband, Bill of Newport News; seven brothers, Merrill, Richard, Phillip, Gary, Robert, Lewis, and Omar McQuillen; a sister, Martha Porfilo; and four grandchildren, Peter L. Carrasco, Lori L. Carrasco, Marie M. Daniels and William L. McGuire III; and a host of other extended family.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Weymouth Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary's memory to the American Cancer Society, 11835 Canon Blvd., Suite A-102, Newport News, VA 23606 or Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, 601 Childrens Lane, Norfolk, VA 23507.
