Lola moved to Guthrie from Carney, Oklahoma in 2016. On December 25, 1947 she married Johnie L.G. Price in Ponca City and worked as a homemaker. Lola enjoyed gardening, doll collecting, antiques, and most of all, her family. She was a member of the Logan County Genealogical Society and the American Farmers and Ranchers Association.
Survivors include her daughters Carolyn Price of Carney and Linda Pruitt of Guthrie; sister Dorothy Hammett of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren Kimberly Hickey, Michelle Kirkes, and Michael Price; great grandchildren Miles Clutter, Kolby Wilson, Abby Wilson, and Eli Gipson; great-great grandchildren Makeah and Kyson Clutter; and a number of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2007, and her son Johnie L.G. Price II in 2013.
Graveside services: Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Union Cemetery in Glencoe, Oklahoma with Deacon Karen Hansen officiating.
