FAIR LAWN Tunis (Van) Vandenberg, of 0-75 Morlot Ave., died unexpectedly , Monday at home.
A retired purchasing agent for Botany Mills Co., Passaic, Mr. Vandenberg had also been associated with Brogan Cadillac, Paterson.
Originally from Glen Rock, be had lived in Fair Lawn for the last 23 years.
Holding the rank of Master Sergeant, Mr. Vandenberg served in the Army during World War I.
He was a member of Van Riper Ellis Memorial Church.
Services will be held Thurs day at 10 a.m. In the Vander Plaat Colonial Home, 13-31 Saddle River Rd., with the Rev. David Hondorp of the central Reformed Church, Paterson officiating.
Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus,
Surviving are his wife , the former Belle E. Patmos; a daughter, Mrs. John (Louise) Heck of Palmerton, Pa., a brother, Jacob of Clifton: a sister, Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Siebert of Midland Park, and two grandchildren.
