Lori Beth Brown, 50, resident of Broken Arrow, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 12, 2019.

Lori was born May 4, 1969 in Perry, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Don and Terri Brown and was raised in the Cleveland area.

Lori attended grade school in Tulsa at Patrick Henry Elementary and was active in sports and dance. Her education continued in Sand Springs at Charles Page Schools where she was a member of the All American Deaf Choir. The group performed patriotic music in sign language. Their special talent earned them a trip to Washington D.C. After graduating high school, Lori attended Tulsa Junior College and moved to Tulsa. She started her employment with a social services agency and later went to work for Bank of Oklahoma in the data entry department.

Lori had a passion for OU football. Even at age 9, game days you would find her front and center of the TV shouting “Go, Billy Sims, Go”! She enjoyed league bowling with friends on Friday nights at Sheridan Lanes. Annual events Lori and Ron enjoyed together were the Tulsa State Fair and the Chili Bowl Nationals. At home, you could find Lori watching “Walker, Texas Ranger” and “Chips”. She never grew tired of watching them. She had a talent for working large jigsaw puzzles and you could be sure she had a crossword or word search book with her wherever she went. She had a fondness for horses and her companion cat, Fuzzy.

Lori was a part of an in home bible study group and accepted Jesus Christ as her savior in 2017. Birthdays were her most favorite family gatherings. Being with her nieces brought such joy to her. She leaves us all with the memory of her love and laughter. She made us smile.

Survivors are her boyfriend and faithful caregiver, Ron Brown of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, parents Don and Terri Brown of Cleveland, Oklahoma, sister Darrah Frazier of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, grandparents, Richard and Elaine Randall of Perry, Oklahoma, four nieces Baylee, Loghan, Tinsley, Briley and a host of loving family members and friends.

Lori is preceded in death by her brother Daniel Jason Brown, grandparents Dewey J Brown, Ramona Brown, June Brown, Orlan and Mildred Lemler.

Services are Wednesday, July 17, 2019 – 2:00pm First Christian Church, Cleveland, Oklahoma with David Logsdon officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Ralston, Oklahoma.
