Larry G. Jacobs Sr, 73, died on July 14, 2019 at Franciscan Health St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette, IN.

He was born on May 10, 1946 in Cambridge, OH to the late James Harden Jacobs Jr and Leota Blanche (King) Jacobs. On July 18, 1964 in Kimbolton, OH, he married Loretta Kay Hess; she survives.

Larry and his wife have lived in the Lafayette, IN area since 1982, coming from Mount Clemens, MI. He was a member of the former Life Change Ministries in Lafayette and had helped build the church. Larry enjoyed archery, hunting, golfing, and loved being a coach for youth baseball. He also loved and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife.

He is survived by his wife; three sons; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother; one sister; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Janice White, William King and John Oliver Jacobs.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Funeral will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2019 with Pastor Tom Bennett of the Wolcott Christian Church officiating. Burial will take place in Hughes Cemetery.
