She went to meet her heavenly Father July 11, 2019 in her home in Springfield, MO. She had been surrounded all day with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Elva Jarman and an older sister Hallie Marie Jarman, who died in infancy.
She is survived by her husband, Bud Parks of their home and her son Gary Allen Mattox of Fair Grove, Missouri.
She is also survived by her granddaughter, Shonna Lynn Barton and her husband Daniel of Fair Grove, Missouri.
Donna had three step-children who she considered as her own. Susan Sales, Pam Kirby and Tony Parks. She also had four step-grandchildren.
Donna is also survived by five brothers and one sister, Elmer Jarman and his wife Jerry of Kansas City, MO., Allen Jarman of Raytown, MO., Bill Jarman of Bolivar, MO., Mike Jarman and his wife Verna of Flemington, MO., Ruth Lloyd and her husband Don of Springfield, MO., and Rick Jarman of Weaubleau, MO.
There is also a very large number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many cousins. So many friends we could not list them all, but they were held in her big heart.
Gary had a number of friends who all called her MOM. And that is the way she felt about them.
Donna was a retired Dispatcher from several local trucking companies and the Zenith Corporation in Springfield, Missouri. For Several years she worked as a nurses aid for Burge Hospital.
Donna and the entire family believed God would heal her from that dreaded word Cancer, and HE did. He took her HEAVEN so she could rest.
The entire family wishes to thank everyone for the phone calls, visits and prayers over the last few months. May our God richly bless all of you. AS DONNA WOULD SAY, I LOVE YOU BUNCHES!
