Gary Lee Robbins was born March 23, 1946, the son of Donald E. and Elva M. (Rakestraw) Robbins. He married Patricia K. Ayers on March 23, 1968 and had celebrated their 51st anniversary. For over forty years Gary was a semi-driver in this area. He had served in the Iowa National Guard for a number of years. Gary was known for his love of family and friends as well as driving his beloved 1954 Ford F100 and antique Farmall Tractors in area parades. He was a simple soul who will be missed by all who knew and loved him!
His family includes his wife, Patricia; their children, Amy Whigham (Ronnie) and Donald Robbins; granddaughter, Nicole Hennings; great-grandsons, Issac and Eli Stephens; brother, Richard Robbins and many extended family members.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Donna Carmichael and an infant brother.
