Mark J. “Goob” Reid, 56, of Star City, IN, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN. He was born on June 26, 1960 in Toledo, OH to Donald E. and Matilda J. (Rustemeyer) Reid. Mark graduated from Winamac High School in 1979. While in high school, he was a talented runner and held the school record for the mile and half mile for many years.
Mark was an avid NASCAR and drag racing fan. He loved his dog, Blossom. He lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed bonfires, floating the river, fishing, hunting and arrowhead hunting.
Mark loved his family and friends very much. He will sadly missed.
He is survived by his parents; six siblings; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 12 noon at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating.
Visitation was from 9:30 AM to 12 noon on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.
Burial took place in Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN.
Mark was an avid NASCAR and drag racing fan. He loved his dog, Blossom. He lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed bonfires, floating the river, fishing, hunting and arrowhead hunting.
