L M Morrell died Tuesday. He was 69 years old and lived with his daughter, Mrs. O C Murphy of Mangum, his wife having died a few months ago. His possessions are located around Coralea. Native of North Carolina and he came to Texas 40 years ago, 10 years later went to California and amassed fortune, lost it returned to Texas, came to Greer County. Leaves son and one daughter in Los Angles, California, 2 daughters in Phoenix, Arizona, 1 daughter and 3 sons here. Odd Fellow, Methodist, funeral Wednesday, Rev. W H Roper, buried Mangum cemetery. Estate $10,000.
