Jay grew up in Amber, Oklahoma, where he played baseball and basketball. He was a big fan of the Oklahoma Sooners, as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved fishing and raising show cattle. Jay was always smiling and never met a stranger.
He is survived by one son, two daughters, his mother, grandsons, sister, brother, and many in-laws, nieces and nephew.
His funeral was held at Sharon Baptist Church on July 11.
