Dian Allen, age 70, of Latexo, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Houston County Nursing Home. Dian was born October 31, 1948 to parents Raymond A. Mims and Lena Patton Mims. She retired from the Crockett State School, a past member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Latexo Baptist Church.
Dian is survived by her husband of 51 years, Victor Allen of Latexo; daughters, Andrea Barnes and husband, Royce of Montgomery, Lisa Trickett and husband, Chris of Colorado Springs, Colorado; granddaughter, Callie Trickett of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters, Evalena Ashley and husband, Dock of Latexo; Maxine McLane of Porter; sisters-in-law, Sue Price of Richmond, Darlene Stephens and husband, Loyd of Grapeland, Kay West and husband, Randy of Batson, Connie Goolsby and husband, Mike of Latexo; brother-in-law, James “Bo” Allen of Lufkin; special friends, Sharon Lane and husband, Johnny and Dee Beddoe.
Funeral services for Dian Allen will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019 in the Latexo Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Latexo Cemetery.
