Ethel L. Stolle, 86, of Columbus, passed from this life Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Stolle was born, September 24, 1932, in Sandborn, Indiana, the daughter of Wilsie and Della Allman Baker.

Ethel retired as a seamstress from Benzol Cleaner’s in 1983 where she had worked for several years.

She was a member of Brown’s Corner Chapel.

Mrs. Stolle enjoyed singing in the choir, doll collecting, visiting the Turner Doll Factory, traveling and going to gospel concerts.

She married Pastor Richard W. Stolle, December 2, 1951. He preceded her in death April 1, 2007.

Survivors include her children, Rick (Mary Jo) Stolle of Indianapolis and Pamela (Tom) Chambers of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer Acton) Simpson of Columbus, April Foster of Evansville and Jennifer (Kyle) Seavers of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Kanisha Lucas, Erica Rhoades, Kayla Hoover and Nikkita Woodcock; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Norma Cox of Columbus and Sammy Ashley of Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 6 brothers; and 5 sisters.

The funeral will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Mark Hammel officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. to time of service Wednesday.

Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
