Funeral services for Mrs. Cedle Mae. Gambill South, 54, Beards Fork, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Herman Williams in charge. Burial will be in Blue, Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. She died at 7:30 a.m. Mortd&y in a Montgomery hospital after a long illness. Born at Stonega, Va., Feb. 18, 1921, she was a daughter of the late William P. and Blarfche Phillips Gambill. . She is survived by her husband, Paul C. South; two sons, Robert Larry South, South Bend, Ind., and Walter Michael South, Beards Fork; two daughters, Mrs. Herman (Paula) Lanham, Elk Ridge and Miss Joyce Ellen South, Beards Fork; four brothers, Arthur, Wilmington, Del., Charles, Columbus, Ohio, Walter, Norfolk. Va., and Gene Gambill, Hialeah, Fla., and a sister, Mrs. Audrey Ayres, Orlando, Fla. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday. (RNS)
