Fred Noel Peterson, 46, 2966 W. 3875 South, died of natural causes March 15, 1974, in a Salt Lake hospital.
Born Feb. 11, 1928, Kamas, Summit County, to Noel W. and Irma Pack Peterson. Married Charlyn Ranck, Sept. 8, 1948; divorced. Married Velma Ilene Pope, Nov. 24, 1972, Elko, Nev. Truck driver, IML, 14 years. Served in Air Force. Member, Future Farmers of America.

Survivors: wife; sons, Fred Bradford, Salt Lake City; Michael Dennis, Scott, Charles M., Randall, Timothy, all Magna; stepsons, stepdaughters, Edward Hamilton, Ann Marie Hamilton, Logan Hamilton, all Granger; parents, Granger; sisters, Mrs. Elvis (Veon) Keysor, Bountiful; Mrs. John (Lois) Charlile, Heber City; Mrs. Weldon (Lucy) Simmons, Mrs. Cameron (Beverly) Hansen, both Salt Lake City.

Funeral Monday 11 a.m., 4300 S. Redwood Rd., where friends call Sunday 6-8 p.m., Monday hour prior to services. Burial Redwood Memorial Estates.
