Mrs. Ingle was born in Scott County, Va. on March 28, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Ira Lane and Nora Dockery Lane.
She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Midway Baptist Church in the Midway community.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ingle; and brothers, Fred and Edward Lane.
Surviving are her daughters, Betty Fields and husband, Johnny, Church Hill, Wanda Kern and husband, Cecil, Duffield, Va., JoAnn Duncan and husband, David, Duffield, Va., Frieda Clark and husband, Steve, Church Hill and Judy Williams and husband, Danny, Gate City, Va.; a son, Ray Ingle, Coeburn, Va.; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Lawson and husband, Charles, Gate City, Va., and Ethel Frasier, Ft. Blackmore, Va.; brothers, Burin Lane and wife, Reba, Ft. Blackmore, Va., James Lane and wife, Gracie and Bill Lane, all of Ft. Blackmore, Va.; her special caregiver, her granddaughter, Leslie Ingle; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her sister, Lucille Lawson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. George Willis, the Rev. Coy Butler and the Rev. Cecil Kern officiating.
The Midway Choir will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Lane Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, Va.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
