Born in Grosse Point, MI; son of Emerson Paul Madison and Barbara Frances Kelsey Stewart Madison (1919–2001)).
A Vietnam Veteran, retired from the military in 1991, and was an active member and pianist of Blessed Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Woodruff, SC.
Survived by his loving wife of nine years, Karen "Beth" Madison; daughters, Amy Erlandsand (Jerry), Jennifer Townsend, Miranda D. Crump, and Gracie Robinette (Zachary); sons, Jason Madison and Shawn Marshall (Heather); a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other special family and friends.
Also predeceasd by a sister, Barbara Ellen Stewart (1939–2019).
Receiving of friends was held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Monday. June 24, 2019, at JK Yarborough Mortuary in Woodruff, SC.
Funeral service with honorary rites was held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 27, 2019, at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC.
