Steven Russel Jenkins (1949-2019), went home to be with the Lord on May 15th at Robert Wood Johnson University hospital in New Brunswick.

Steve was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was a retired postal carrier and school bus driver. He also served as a volunteer at the Church of Grace and Peace as a Royal Ranger commander, Led the Veterans ministry, and took part in many dramas, most notably playing Ebenezer Scrooge in ‘A Christmas Carol.’ Surviving are his beloved wife Yolanda; daughter Michal; Son Kenneth (daughter in law Janessa); Son Steven; Brother Kenneth (sister in law Lisa); sister Rami; and many family members and friends. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of Grace and Peace, 1563 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ on Friday May 17th. Visitation will start at 10:00am followed immediately by the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve Jenkins' name to one of the following organizations:
