Tony was an awesome singer, who’s life took him all over the country. He performed with various artists, which included his television debut with the late Whitney Huston in the Preacher’s Wife. Ms. Dorinda Cole, Robin Roberts “Good Morning America” and former President Barack Obama and the finally his pride and joy “The Soul Tempo”.
Tony leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother Shirley Nixon of Apex, North Carolina, his father, Bishop L. Gene Hatley, sister, Vivian Ann Nixon of New Haven and Jennifer Nabors of Raleigh, North Carolina. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a host of relatives and friends. A special friend Tasha Kellie.
Tony was predeceased by his sister Tywanna Nixon.
