Died from the injuries (severed arm) caused by explosion accident in blasting rocks at the Kalgan River. Died at the Albany Hiring Depot Hospital (now part of the Albany Museum).

Convict No. 1151. A labourer convicted on the 11 July 1849 in Foxton, England, and sentenced to 10 years transportation to Australia. Give 'Ticket of Leave' on the 31 January 1852.
