Joe Cullen Cook, 91, of Hildebran, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Cambridge House Nursing Center, following a period of declining health.
Joe was born on October 6, 1927 in Burke County to the late Marshall Cook and Minnie Tallent Cook.
He attended Coming Home Baptist Church and was a retired band saw operator in the furniture manufacturing industry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Flanigan Cook and one child.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Pastor Timothy Grindstaff officiating. Entombment will follow at the Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
