Mrs. Linda Lee Fincher Camp, age 77, of Bremen, Georgia passed away on June 27,2019 at Carrollton Manor Nursing Home in Carrollton, Georgia.
Linda was born in Cartersville, Georgia on October 18, 1941 the daughter of the late Hubert A. Fincher and Margaret Balenger. Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was the Matriarch of her family, always had advice and never hesitated to share her opinion. She was a talented seamstress and had the opportunity to make band and cheerleading uniforms for a lot of the Cobb County Schools. Linda also enjoyed seeing the sparkle in the eye of the bride as she designed and made that special dress. She also loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family. To know Linda was to love her and the thing she especially loved was her relationship with her Lord. She had a servants heart that could be seen teaching Sunday School, working with childrens church, cooking for a families in need or visiting the sick.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Jackson Camp, Sr. of sixty one years, children, Jesse Jackson Camp, Jr, Hugh Stephen Camp, James Matthew Camp . brothers, Robbie Andrew and Jill Balenger, Winter Haven, Florida, sister, Billie Jo Blair, Villa Rica, Georgia; extended generations.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Hubert Aaron "Dickie" Fincher, Melvin Fincher, infant sister, Eugenia Fincher, step mother, Addie Ruth Fincher and step father, Robert Hamp Balenger.
The family will receive friends at J. Collins Funeral Home on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 1, 2019 .
Interment will follow the service at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Happy Valley Baptist Church Youth.
