Judith Ann McLaughlin, age 69, of Nancy, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at her home.
Judy was born on February 11, 1950, in Rapid City, South Dakota, daughter of the late Barney and Verda “Deanie” Emmitt McLaughlin.

She was retired from the US Air Force, having served for twenty-two years. Judy also retired from the US Postal Service in Brick, New Jersey after several years of dedicated service. After retirement and moving to Nancy, she was always working on her home and always had another project in the works. Judy was a lover of life and looked forward to what was ahead. Judy loved her boat and boating and enjoyed exploring new places. She was an extreme automobile enthusiast. Her extensive knowledge of the year, make and models as well as the engine size was impressive. She always owned a muscle car, perhaps her favorite was her Chevrolet LT Convertible. It’s safe to say that her vehicles, were her children and each one had a “Masters Degree”. However, Judy always put her family and her loved ones as top priority and would break her back to help a neighbor or a friend. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sisters, Jill Connelly and Shawn Williamson (and Carl), both of Columbus, Ohio; her brother, Barney McLaughlin, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; her niece, Deana Wilcox; her nephews, Christopher Ty Riffle, Nolan Cooper, Douglas Williamson and Barney McLaughlin, III; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends, neighbors and former co-workers.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Judith Ann McLaughlin will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., in the Mill Springs National Cemetery, in Nancy, with Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
