Barbara J. Shadduck, age 61 of Oshkosh, died peacefully on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Saint Joseph Residence in New London. She was born on August 7, 1950 in Oshkosh to Warren and Frances Benedict. Barbara enjoyed horseback riding, camping and thanks to her career as a truck driver she traveled all of the lower 48 states and even parts of Canada.

She is survived by her mother, Frances I. Nielsen; daughter, Rhonda (Jeffrey) Haber of Marion, Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Alyssa Haber and Casey Schatzke both of Marion. She is further survived by her three sisters, Sally I. Lane and Peggy S. Egan of Oshkosh and Cathy D. Stewart of Pickett, Wisconsin; brother, Robert M. Nielsen of Apple Valley, Minnesota and beloved partner, James DeLap.

Memorial service for Barbara will take place at 5:30 PM on Monday, April 2, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2828 Scenic Drive, Oshkosh with Bishop Robert Rhodes officiating. The family will greet friends at church on Monday from 3:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
