Mr. George (Jeep) Langston, 80 of Chatsworth, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Wood Dale Health Care Center.

Jeep was born November 23, 1938 in Trion, GA. He was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed Ham Radio and was a member of the H.R.C.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Bessie Langston; brothers, Stephen, David, Larry, Ronald, Ralph, Charles, Andy and Jim Langston; sisters, Ruth, Jenny Rebecca and Joyce Langston.

Jeep is survived by his loving wife, Linda Brown Langston of Chatsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Victor and Becky Langston of Delaware, Ohio and Dale and Aimee Langston of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Sonia and Rickey Lofty of Chatsworth; brother, Joe Langston of Trion, GA; sisters, Sibyl Shields of Smyrna, GA, Ruby Eller of Marietta, GA, Nell Thomas of Trion, GA; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; best fur baby Moses; and extended family.

Adam Lofty, Eric Lofty, Kyle Lofty, Colby Lofty, Joshua Langston, and Christopher Langston will serve as pallbearers.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. George (Jeep) Langston will be held Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Brewer and Vic Langston officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in West Hill Cemetery in Trion, GA.
