Melissa Jo "Missy" Taylor, 43, of Volga, died Saturday, March 5, in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport.
She was born April 16, 1972, at Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of Clarence Edgar Sunderman who survives at St. Marys, W.Va. and the late Lucy Alice (Harkins) Sunderman.

On April 18, 1998, she was married to Charles Tennant Taylor, who survives at Volga.
Also surviving are two sons, two step-daughters, Oh., six step-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and her beloved dog, Bridget.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jeff Harkins, Thomas James Harkins and Joshua Sunderman; by a brother-in-law, Charles "Butch" Butcher and by three nephews, Eddie Pugh, Butchie Pugh and Donavan Butcher.

Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker. She was a Christian by faith and loved the outdoors, knitting, drawing, painting, and writing. She, more than anything, loved and cherished her family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 966 South Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Selvy Junior Mayle will officiate and, honoring her wishes, cremation will follow.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Saturday.
The Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
