Jeff R. "Harky' Harkins, 55, of Marietta, OH died December 22, 2014 in Marietta. He was born April 6, 1959 in Parkersburg, WV; a son of the late Lucy Harkins Sunderman. He was a drywaller and worked construction for over 25 years. Jeff loved to fish, watch NASCAR and do pencil drawings.
He is survived his 2 children, his beloved buddy, Gator; special friend, his former wife; 6 grandchildren, two sisters, 2 nieces, 4 nephews, one uncle; two aunts; several cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Etta Mae Houston; brother, Thomas James Harkins; brother-in-law Charles "Butch" Butcher and nephew Donavan Butcher.
Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
