Frankie Kinsey

Frankie Kinsey, 80, of Sweetwater, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001 at her residence.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2001 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. James Baker and Rev. Tommy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home of Sweetwater.

Mrs. Kinsey was born Nov. 16, 1920 in Iberis. She married Olan E. Kinsey in 1937 in Carrizozo, N.M. She was a cafeteria manager for Eastridge School for over 20 years before retiring. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Perkins of Abilene and Rebecca Smith of Arlington; three sons, Kenneth Kinsey of Phoenix, Ariz., Lang Kinsey of Birmingham, Ala. and Gail Kinsey of Mansfield; two sisters, Katherine Harbuck of Sweetwater and Jana Davenport of San Diego, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-granchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Olan E. Kinsey on Sept. 18, 1985; one son, John Kinsey; three sisters, Eula Mae Cunningham, Vennie Lancaster and Ruby Jordan; and one brother, Lawrence Hunt.
