He was a Korean War veteran and was a farmer. Survivors include a son, Joey Butler of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Jill Butler of Rineyville; 1 grandchild; 5 step-grandchildren; his mother, Mary Blair of Hardinsburg; and 3 sisters, Virginia Whitworth of Custer, Helen Moore of Hardinsburg and Pat Moore of Hudson. Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
