Virginia "Jenny" Whitworth, age 83 of Custer, KY died Monday, November 25, 2019 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Mook, KY on October 23, 1936, the daughter of the late Austin and Mary West Butler.
She was a seamstress and worked for Galante Studio for many years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, playing the guitar and singing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Helen Moore and brothers Hershel and Tince Butler.
Jenny is survived by 2 sons - Terry Whitworth of Garfield, KY and Timmy Whitworth of Custer, KY; 1 daughter - Debbie Bloomfield of Irvington, KY; 3 grandchildren: Christy Mills, Jamie Bloomfield and Michael Whitworth; 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister - Patsy Moore of Kingswood, KY
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, KY on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 1 PM with Bro. Mac Sosh officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery near SeRee, KY. Visitation will be held on Saturday, 4-8 PM and Sunday after 10 AM.
