LYLE RESIDENT, 90 YEARS OLD, DIES
The funeral services of Mrs. N. Garner was held in the Lyle church Friday afternoon with interment in the Lyle-Balch cemetery. Mrs. Garner passed away at her home near Lyle Wednesday after two weeks serious illness. She was 90 years old last July and known lovingly by her friends as Grandma Garner. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the family in the time of their sorrow.

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FRIDAY FOR MRS. GARNER
Funeral services were held last Friday for Grandma Garner who died November 8 at her home near Lyle. She was 90 years old at the time of her death and had been a resident of Lyle for 56 years.
Nancy Dawson Garner was born in Green Hill, Indiana, July 8, 1849. She was married to William Garner in 1868 at Milford, Illinois. they moved to San Fransisco in 1881 and then to Washington, settling four miles north of Lyle, her home until her death. Her husband died in 1924.
Surviving are two sons, Charles and Jesse, and one daughter, Rose Garner, all of Lyle. Six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a brother Charles Dawson of Chinook, Washington, also survive her.
