Erica Denise Moore was born on August 8, 1970 in Saginaw Michigan, the daughter of Earvine and Charlie Ann Watkins.

Erica accepted Christ at an early age. She began her Christian journey under the leadership of Reverend Roosevelt Mosley at St. Paul Baptist Church, Saginaw, Michigan. In her youth, Erica was a faithful servant of the Lord serving in various ministries, always with a big smile on her face. Erica was diligent in her spiritual growth and development.
Erica graduated from Buena Vista High School in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduating, she furthered her education at Tennessee State University where she received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration. While at TSU, Erica found the love of her life, Brian Moore. Later, they united in holy matrimony in 1998. To this union, the birth of one lovely daughter, Brianna Latrice Moore. Erica taught her daughter many valuable rules of life, to carry a smile, treat everyone the way she wants to be treated, and give a helping hand to those who are in need. Brianna took good care of her mother every day and loved doing it. Erica, Brian and Brianna were a happy family, sharing many wonderful times. Erica was a loving mentor to her younger sister and best friend, Jennifer. They kept no secrets from each other; the love they had for each other was unconditional. Erica was a child who truly honored her parents, Earvine and Charlie.
She served faithfully under the leadership of Apostle Howard at Living Truth Christian Center. Erica served as a GWC (Growing With Christ) teacher and many other ministries. Erica became ill, yet she continued serving the lord by ministering and encouraging the young and old or being a shoulder to lean on; always putting others before herself.

On Thursday, June 13, 2019, God called Erica home to her heavenly rest. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 21 years, Brian Moore, one daughter, Brianna Moore, both of Smyrna, TN; parents, Earvine and Charlie Ann Watkins, of Saginaw, Michigan; sister, Jennifer (Michael) Gresham, of Bolingbrook, Illinois; mother-in-love, Nellie Moore, of Gary, Indiana; brothers-in-love, Ronald Moore, of Arlington, Texas, Jonathan (Kamilah) Moore, of Gary, Indiana; nephews, Jayceon and Jaxson Gresham, Zion Gresham-Waite, and Ronald Moore. A host of aunts, uncles and cousins. One special cousin, April Kilgore of Antioch, Tennessee, a faithful companion from childhood to the end; and a special friend, Satrina Tate of Antioch, Tennessee, a childhood friend of over 30 years. Erica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earmond and Alberta Watkins, John and Mary Benoit; and father-in-Iove, Floyd Moore.
