Frances Alene Tucker Gill, 88, formerly of Altavista died Friday, June 14, 2019 at Autumn Care of Altavista. She was the wife of the late Alvin Ray Gill, Sr. for 40 years.
She was born in 1930 in Pittsylvania County, a daughter of the late James Tucker and Oakey Robye Tucker and a member of Penuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, one granddaughter, one grandson, and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robye James Tucker and Thelbert Tucker; and three sisters, Una Mae Trent, Nona Atkinson, and Mollie Clifton.
