Born on February 25, 1958 in Romney, WV, he was the son of the late Mildred Pauline Pyles George and Eston George.
He was employed for over 20 years at Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury, Winchester, VA.
Terry enjoyed hiking, fishing and floating on the South Branch River. He loved eating at Greg’s Restaurant. He made many friends and loved to socialize. He enjoyed driving thru the countryside in his truck he nicknamed “Black Betty”.
In his lifetime, he was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He served as a deacon, a Sunday school teacher, a lay speaker and a song leader in his church which he attended with his family. He was and is held in high regard by his family and church family and will be missed by all.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary George and a sister, Carolyn Cave.
He is survived by the love of his life, Karen Sue George, 2 daughters, Cassandra Jeffreys (Joel) of Augusta and Brittany Sue Cheshire (Matthew) of Moorefield, WV; 2 grandsons, Zachary Joel Jeffreys and Jacob Levi Jeffreys; and 5 sisters, Judy Conard, Eleanor Friend, Debbie Mumpower, all of Romney, Bonnie Whitacre of Augusta, WV and Diana Hinkle, Wardensville, WV.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta with Pastor Robert Jeffreys and Pastor Wendell Everett officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV.
