Passed away Sunday in her home following a two year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Daughter of Ross Allen and Mary Rose Paddack Martin. Married Phillip Wayne Springer at their home on the family farm August 21, 1973. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother Mary Rose Paddack Martin Duncan; daughters Corey (Jeffrey) Deckard and Tracey (Paul) Hembree; son Phillip Andrew 'Andy' Springer; sister Anita (Don) Hopper; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Attended Coal Creek Central through her junior year and was a member of the first class to graduate from North Montgomery High School in 1972.
Graduate of Harrison Business College, Indianapolis where she studied fashion design.
Worked with her sister creating leather handbags and accessories as well as unique leather floral designs.
She was a great cook and enjoyed having her family together. She had a love of horses and enjoyed caring for them, enjoyed old classic movies and 'mushrooming' in her secret spots.
Funeral service 2pm Thursday, June 13 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate with Don Hopper officiating.
Visitation 5-8pm Wednesday.
