She was born on May 28, 1933 in Clear Springs, Missouri. Daughter of Jess and Nora Story.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and being outdoors with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
Preceded in death by her son, Steven Crum, four sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her husband Gaylon Jones of Shawnee, KS, daughters Loretta Pierce (Kieth), Rebecca Waner (Mike). Stepdaughters, Sherri Jones (Richard), and Theresa Killian (John). Her grandchildren Carol “Carrie” Crum, Jenny Lindbloom, Preston Pierce, Travis Waner, Brian Killian and Jamie Spencer. Also missed by 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Her sister Melba Rothermich (Tom) of Willow Springs, MO, her sister in-laws Lousie Grubb of Pasadena, TX, Nadine Nelson, Merriam, KS, Pauline Shelley, Lenexa, KS, Allene Champ, Lenexa, KS, and Ann Zaudke, Overland Park, KS, her brother in-laws Carl Jones of Lawrence, KS, Vernon Jones, Overland Park, KS and many nieces and nephews.
