DROWNED IN A WELL

LITTLE SON OF THERON EUPER OF TOBACCO TOWNSHIP.

Dale, June 15---
Our neighborhood was greatly shocked Friday afternoon when the report came out that Ceylon, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Theron Euper had drowned in the well. He had been gone from the house but a short time when he was missed, and a search was begun, when they found him in the well. He had lifted the middle board to the cover and let it slide in the well and it is though that he went in with the board.
Dr. Sturge was called and did all that could be done, to restore life without avail. He was 1 year and 10 months old. Mrs. Euper's health is in a very delicate condition, having an infant daughter only two weeks old.
The funeral was held at the hall Sunday at 1 o'clock. Rev. Johnson officiating. Interment in Dale cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community. Gladwin County Record dated 06-22/1911 Column - 6 Page - 1
