Mr. Paul Wesley Wall, 88, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019.

A graveside service was held at 2 pm, Monday, June 10, 2019 at Knollhurst Memorial Gardens with military honors.

Mr. Wall was born on June 20, 1930 in Stokes County to the late Malcolm Robert Wall and Emma Bertie Wall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne Martin Wall and brother, Malcolm Robert Wall, Jr.

Paul served his country honorably in the United States Army and was an avid NASCAR fan that also loved growing and tending to his garden, especially his prized tomatoes. He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren and caring for his pets.

Survivors include his son, Wesley Wall and wife, Emily; grandson, Christopher Wall and wife, Jessica; granddaughter, Julie Wall; great-granddaughter, Emilia Wall; great-grandson, Owen Wall; brother, Philip Wall, Sr. and wife, Mildred; sister, Dorothy Zur; niece, Suzanne Zur and nephews, Philip Wall, Jr. and Tom Zur.

The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home and all other times at the home of Wesley Wall.

Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Carefree, 275 Carefree Lane, Stokesdale, NC 27357.
