Dorothy Louise Carroll, 83, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away peacefully of June 7, 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Dorothy was born December 2, 1935 in Greeneville, Tennessee and moved to Florida in 1972 coming from Miami, Florida.

Mrs. Carroll left the hills of Tennessee to proudly serve our country in the U.S. Navy for 4 years before being honorably discharged. She was a member of Liberty Baptist church since 1992. Once moving to Florida, she was a mechanic by trade and a race car driver by hobby & she never shied away from the thrill of life. Later in life, she made the decision to sell her shop and raise her 6 grandchildren which were her reason for living.

Survivors include: son, Donald Carroll, grandchildren, Bridgette Robert) Schooley, Michael Carroll, Buford Carroll, III, Kimberly Taylor, Carletta Carroll, Erica (Fredrick) Taylor, Kayla (Zach) McCarty and Kolby Carroll; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Chase, Lilly, Addisyn, Jonathan, Cassandra, David, Vanessa, Audrey, Jordan, Kane, Luke and Raelyn.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at Liberty Baptist Church, Fort Pierce, Florida with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
