Mrs. Minnie B. Gelow, 82, of Three Oaks, Mich., the mother of Lavern Gelow, 3707 Nolcomis Rd., died at her home at 1:30 a.m. yesterday after an illness of six years. She had resided in Three Oaks since her marriage in 1898.
Surviving besides the son here are another son and daughter, Kenneth Gelow of Rocky River, Ohio, and Nina Gelow of Three Oaks. Two grandchildren and one great grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Harry Brown of Berwyn, Ill., also survive.
She was a member of the Three Oaks Methodist Church. Services will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home, Three Oaks, at 2 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Jack Baumgart officiating and interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
