Mr. Wayne Earley, age 65, of McHenry, MS, formerly of Marion, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport, MS.
Mr. Earley was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late James and Mary Holland Earley.
He was a retired Mine Supervisor with International Mineral & Chemical, Inc. (IMC). He devoted much of his time to assisting youth groups and was an avid sportsman who loved fishing and hunting. He was a devoted husband and father. Mr. Earley was a U.S. Army Veteran. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army from Fort Bragg, N. C.
Left to cherish Mr. Earley's memory are his wife, Florence Patten Earley, of the home; two children: Dianna Earley Dodd and husband Richard of Mocksville, N. C. and Jimmy Earley and wife Michelle of Lakeland, Florida; two grandchildren: Jenny Dodd and Logan Earley; one brother, Clarence Earley and two sisters, Marble McCall and Jean Scott.
A funeral service was held on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Westmoreland Chapel, Marion, NC
Interment was in Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
