Willa Nell Stiles, 99, of Waynesville, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016. She was born in Jackson County on October 5, 1917 to the late John and Arlisa Hooper Melton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughters, Donna Faye Freeman and Johnnie Ruth Hightower. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ernest Stiles; daughter, Mary Inman; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Burial will be held at family cemetery on brasstown.
