Rev. Julian Adams, 80, of Nashville died Saturday June 1, 2019 in Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 7, 1939 in Berrien County to the late Carson Adams and the late Lucille Pafford Adams. He was a retired loom fixer and style changer with Nashville Mills and a heavy equipment escort from state to state with Triple T out of Adel. He was an ordained minister who spread the word of God through the Church of God and was a member of Adel Church of God where he served as Senior Associate Pastor. He was married to the love of his life for 57 years and truly loved his family. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Bill, Richard and Eugene Adams; son-in-law: Paul Wing; great granddaughter: Dakota Jackson.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Jane Baker Adams of Nashville; 3 daughters: Donna Wing of Jackson, MI, Sherry (Joe) Callahan of Nashville and Brenda (David) Morris of Nashville; son: Samuel Carson Adams of Nashville; adopted son: Randy (Sandra) Tyson of Norman Park; sister: Lorine Pafford of Alapaha; 2 brothers: Collis Adams of Perry, FL and Hulon Adams of Lenox; 9 grandchildren: Earl Booth, Amanda (Derrick) Jackson, Jessica (Robert) McClain, Josh (Britany) Callahan, Davy (Kristen) Morris, Wendy (Cal) Lovett, Justin Morris, Patricia Gail Adams and Samantha (Doug) French; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday June 4, 2019 at 11 am in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Ashley Wade, Rev. Tommy Dorman, Mr. Randy Tyson and Mr. Derrick Jackson officiating. Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
