Helen Louise Jackson Ward, 95, was called home to the Lord on June 22, 2018. She was born in January 14, 1923 in Galveston, Tx to Captain Robert Joseph Jackson and Elizabeth Mary Louise Walter Jackson. Helen married Reverend A. Arnott Ward on April 22, 1948 in Galveston, Texas
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. A. Arnott Ward, her parents, daughter, Sandy Davidson, sister, Ruby Turner, brother, Ted Jackson, brothers-in-law, Jack Turner and Bill Purcell, sister-in-law, Theta Jackson, and close companion, Pete Jones.
Left to cherish her memory are her son-in-law Billy Davidson, two grandchildren, siblings Robert Jackson, Woody Jackson (Jean), and Sally Purcell, great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church. Flowers in memory of Helen J. Ward may be sent to Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
