Laura Jane (Haake) Mosley was born on March 29, 1962 to the late Mary Louise (Stubbs) Haake and the late Walter E. Haake Sr in Kansas City, Missouri. She was also preceded in death by her brother W. Edward Haake Jr.

Laura was a Christian and baptized Catholic. Laura attended Raytown South High School, Raytown, Missouri and graduated class of 1980. She also graduated from Herndon Career Center in Raytown, Missouri in 1980 with an Associates decree. She worked as a cosmetologist for 25 years and in customer service at Caremark for 12 years.

Laura enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, quilting, Sudoku, crocheting, calligraphy but the most important thing that she enjoyed was spending time with her family whom she loved and adorned.

Laura leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband, Vernon; one son; Dallas M. Mosley of Lee Summit, Missouri; one daughter Sierra M. Mosley of Lee Summit, Missouri; six sisters; Mary Tota of Lee Summit, Missouri, Connie Kauffman of Texas, Gina Stacy of Florida, Gretchen Revere of New York, Jenny Grider of Arizona, Anna Marie Ferber of Florida ; two brothers Patrick Haake of Independence, Kansas and Dan Haake of Kansas, a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended relatives and friends.
