Mrs. Nora Smith, Widow of State Senator, Passes
Dillon, March 12. (JP)- Mrs. Nora M. Smith, 66, widow of State Sen. Pearl I. Smith of Beaverhead county, died at the family home here.
Born Christmas day, 1882, in Adalphi, Ohio, she came west, as a young woman and settled here 44 years ago. She maintained. a keen interest in community affairs, particularly In education and child welfare work.
Her husband died following an automobile accident in March, 1937.
Survivors include a son, Ralph I. Smith of Butte, an instructor at Montana School of Mines, and a daughter, Rachel L. Smith of Dillon
